What's New ~ September
The theme for this newsletter is Connecting With Our Community. We want to reach out to our local community and make connections that will benefit all of us.
Each one of you, our beloved patients and fans, is an integral part of Boulder Community Acupuncture. We want you to get involved in any way that works for you and make BCA a part of your wider circle of connections. There will be lots of opportunities, large and small, that you can choose from if you so desire.
We will soon have an “Events” page on our website for you to learn about what is coming up. We are in the process of planning a number of events to raise money for affordable healthcare in Boulder County. We will open our clinic and offer FREE treatments to all new patients on a donation basis and then give what we’ve earned to our chosen business. We will need volunteers to help organize and get the word out for us for these events, as well as play music, provide snacks, and more on the day of the event.
Help us! Write a Review...
We want to ask you to write a review for our clinic on Google Places. These reviews help us advertise and give you a way to share your experience of the clinic, a story that others may find helpful when searching for treatment options. We have some freebies to the first 10 people who write reviews. Included is a complimentary yoga class at Mary’s favorite yoga studio – Studio Be Yoga. Or 1/2 price on your next treatment at BCA.Click below to write a short review.

Current happenings at BCA
BCA acupuncture practitioners Jen Wyler and Stephanie Wilson worked in conjunction with our colleagues at Lefthand Community Acupuncture Clinic providing FREE acupuncture treatments Saturday, August 20 during the Lafayette Peach Festival. They asked for voluntary donations to raise travel funds for the Centaurus High School marching band who has been selected to perform for the 9/11 tribute ceremony in New York. Link HERE for the story. There are a few changes that will begin the month of September.
- The clinic will be open for acupuncture every shift Monday through Saturday. See the Calendar on this website to see what days work for you.
- We have a system set up with Mountain Flower Herbs (in the office downstairs from BCA) to have access to their granular herbal pharmacy. This frees up our space and resources while still providing custom herbal formulas at the LOWEST cost in Boulder. We do not mark up the granular herbs in order to make them affordable. We charge a nominal fee for herbal consults, modifications, and refills.
- Meghan Rogers is joining BCA as of September 1st. Meghan specializes in fertility and Chinese herbal medicine, and we are fortunate to have her be part of our clinic. Welcome, Meghan!
- Tanya and Denise will no longer be working at BCA. We will miss them and all the help they provided our patients. Best wishes to you both!
