Mary co-founded the Community Acupuncture Clinic in Boulder in September 2004. It was the second of now many acupuncture clinics using this model throughout the United States. Thanks to the effectiveness of this ancient medicine and the generosity of the community, the clinic was a great success. In March, 2009, Mary founded Boulder Community Acupuncture in North Boulder, expanding the hours of operation and the services offered to better serve the community.

My study of traditional Chinese medicine is augmented and influenced by years of studying physics, chemistry and engineering. For the last 20 years, I have been a teacher of fitness and wellness and have worked with people struggling with all types of discomfort and illness. I have come to appreciate the unique needs of each person and the power of the body to heal itself when given the right guidance."

“I became passionate about community style acupuncture when I discovered how many individuals across America, due to financial limitations, are unable to receive the healthcare they desperately need. Acupuncture doesn't need to be expensive to be effective. In order to get one’s health back in balance, consistent weekly treatments are often needed. Boulder Community Acupuncture strives to make this possible for everyone by offering a rate that works for you and your situation. I am deeply committed to helping people heal physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually in a safe, non-judgmental, and supportive environment.”
